Well, this activity actually took me by surprise. Imagine, it is holiday break and everyone is overstimulated and surround by all new things and a bit of a mess… I am sure you can imagine how our house was functioning. So I decided to do an activity that took both time and involved everyone. We made some holiday scented PlayDoh.
We finally got some colder weather this week and my kiddos were begging for snow. Unfortunately, without precipitation, it can be cold but there will not be snow. So, I decided let’s make some instant snow.
While I know that not everyone celebrates Christmas, doing easy activities throughout the month of December is something in which everyone can participate. I also know that many families choose to do an Advent calendar where there are daily gifts. For our family, we much prefer our Advent calendar as activities that we can do as a family.
