The Art of DIY with Kids
This year, we wanted to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate by learning how we too can make a difference in this world. We started off with reading about Martin Luther King, Jr. and his accomplishments. Then, we talked about our country and the Civil Rights Movement. We talked a lot about how we can still continue to make changes and help.
Let’s kick off the New Year with some 2025 Goal Setting. As many adults do, they look forward to the next year and create some goals for themselves. This year, we thought it would be a fun activity to include the children in some goal setting.
Throughout the month of November, we spend our time talking about what it means to be grateful and how to express our gratitude. One of our favorite activities is to create a Thankful Tree in our home.
Our goal is to start our Thankful Tree on the first day of November each year!
