It is Sensory Saturday and we have not had a good sensory bin in a couple of weeks! This week, I decided to set up a sensory bin for Valentine’s Day. I cannot even begin to explain my children’s excitement when they came down to the sensory bin filled up! Clearly they had missed sensory play themselves.
Today is National Popcorn Day! So what better way to celebrate than to make a taste safe sensory bin?! This was an incredibly easy and also fun activity for my children. To begin, I think it is hard not to love popcorn but also this was such a different sensory bin for my kids.
It has truly been frigid these past couple of days. Let’s rescue our animals from the ice. We have gotten in some outdoor time but we quickly lose steam with how cold the temperatures have been. We truly would choose to be outside all the time, so to bring in a sense of the outdoors, we have been doing cold indoor activities. Today, we are rescuing our animals from the ice!
