It has truly been frigid these past couple of days. Let’s rescue our animals from the ice. We have gotten in some outdoor time but we quickly lose steam with how cold the temperatures have been. We truly would choose to be outside all the time, so to bring in a sense of the outdoors, we have been doing cold indoor activities. Today, we are rescuing our animals from the ice!
After some fun play in the snow, my children came in ready for some warmer indoor fun today! We decided it would be fun the snuggle up in a snow fort! Bring the outside in and create a cozy place to warm back up.
As you know, we absolutely love our sensory table! January can be a tough time to feel relatively cooped up in the house with weather being colder and harsher. While we love to get outside, some days we need some indoor activities. We have been using ice to learn all about the cold weather outside from within the comfort of our house!
