Kids Crafts, Sensory Play, Science, and More
Today is National Popcorn Day! So what better way to celebrate than to make a taste safe sensory bin?! This was an incredibly easy and also fun activity for my children. To begin, I think it is hard not to love popcorn but also this was such a different sensory bin for my kids.
Come join us for some Penguin Bowling. This is such a fun way to get your kids to burn some energy when the weather isn’t cooperating. We have had some awesome snowy weather so far this winter but unfortunately the next couple of days are predicted to just be bitter cold. We still try to bundle up and get outside but sometimes that just doesn’t last quite as long.
This year, we wanted to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. and celebrate by learning how we too can make a difference in this world. We started off with reading about Martin Luther King, Jr. and his accomplishments. Then, we talked about our country and the Civil Rights Movement. We talked a lot about how we can still continue to make changes and help.
