While I know that not everyone celebrates Christmas, doing easy activities throughout the month of December is something in which everyone can participate. I also know that many families choose to do an Advent calendar where there are daily gifts. For our family, we much prefer our Advent calendar as activities that we can do as a family. So here are at least 24 Days of Easy Advent Activities with Children.
Easy Advent Activities
December is already a busy month, so we typically try to come up with activities that seem to be manageable. Sometimes this means activities that can be set out to do throughout the night. Other times, this means activities the kids do independently. This last one is not often as our goal with the activities is to spend some time together during this busy season and focus on family time.
We have a growing list of activities as some years certain activities do not make sense for us and other years we have more time. This year, one of our activities will actually be after Advent is over as we will have family in town and have an event planned with them.

December to Remember
The ultimate goal is to spend time together during the month. All of these activities can do that in some fashion. Some years we accomplish more together time than others but no matter what, we enjoy this activity. This is something that my kids truly look forward to each year.
We have this Advent calendar, which I love because it has just enough space for a small piece of paper.
I hope to continue to update this list over the years. Both as we come up with new ideas, try new ideas, or even grow older and activities adapt.
